I am a PhD student in Computer Science at University of California, Davis, advised by Prof. S. (Shyhtsun) Felix Wu. My research work is in areas of Social Computing, Social Search Engines, and Social Network Theory and Analysis. Summary of my research projects are available here.
In addition, I am also currently working with World International Patent Organization (WIPO) as an independent consultant along with Prof. Travis Lybbert of Agricultural and Resource Economics Department, UC Davis to develop software systems based on text processing and keyword extraction models to analyze trademark and economic data.
I also have completed the Business Development Program for graduate students at University of California Entrepreneurship Academy in September 2010. I grew up in Kolkata, India and completed my bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jadavpur University.
